Liability for Links
With the judgement of 12th May 1998 - 312 O 85/98 - "Liability for links" the district court in Hamburg decided that references to outside Internet-pages ("links") are if necessary within the area of responsibility of the author. According to the district court this can only be avoided if the author dissociates itself expressly from all contents of all linked/referenced pages.

The WAL Mess- und Regelsysteme GmbH emphasises expressly that they have no influence on the design and content of the linked pages.
